Robert McLaren serves as Director of Development for The Feldman Companies, leading the entitlement, due diligence, design, permitting, and pre-construction efforts for the firm’s growing portfolio of self-storage developments nationwide. With more than 13 years of experience in land development and project management, he has successfully delivered complex commercial, hospitality, residential, and infrastructure projects from acquisition through construction readiness, including One Daytona, Hilton Aventura, the Courtyard by Marriott Flagler Village, and the 5G infrastructure rollout supporting Super Bowl LIV. He has also led the entitlement and development of large-scale residential communities exceeding 300 homes throughout South Florida.
Prior to joining The Feldman Companies, Robert held development and project management roles with Primrose Schools, D.R. Horton, Prime Group, Crown Castle, the City of Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) as a City Planner for 5 years, and Comcast. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University and is recognized for building strong relationships, navigating complex entitlement challenges, and driving projects from concept to construction with a collaborative, results-oriented approach.
